Are you a detail orientated, hard working and diligent person looking for a flexible new role?
We are looking for a house keeper to join our team at The Plough, helping to maintain our six 5 star luxury bedrooms.
You will report directly to the assistant head housekeeper but will be expected to be able to work independently as well.
The role is part time and approximately 20 hours a week with shift lengths varying but start time usually between 8am and 9am (we can be flexible around commitments such as child care). However the public areas of the pub need to be clean by no later than 11.30am and all arrival rooms need to be ready by 3pm.
You will have a guaranteed weekend off a month and will generally only work one weekend day even when you are rota'd on.
Previous experience would be an advantage but full training will be given.
Your duties include but are not limited to:
- Vacuuming and mopping public areas.
- Cleaning the restaurant toilets
-Dusting and polishing public areas as needed.
- Servicing bedrooms to our high standards.
- Taking delivery and sorting laundry.
- Communicating with the laundry company (via head and assistant head housekeeper) to ensure sufficient laundry is in stock.
- Deep cleaning bedrooms on a cyclical basis as they are needed.
