We are always on the look out for positive, hard working and bright people to join our team, at all levels.
Both front of house and back of house roles include full training with good rates of pay plus tips, free meals on duty and a staff discount which can be used across our whole group.
This could be a career defining move for the right person...coming to work for one of the most successful, independent, high end Pub and Inn operators in Cumbria as a joint general manager.
The role will be to continue to improve where possible the reputation of The Plough at Lupton, named by The Times as one of the Top 30 Pubs in Britain, leading to a natural progression to a multi-site management role if that's where your career ambitions lie.
Overall responsibility for The Plough working alongside your fellow general manager, the Ops Manager and the MD - there will be a great degree of 'hands on' attitude required but enough scope to be able to thoroughly plan all aspects of improving the product and the team.
You will ideally have experience in a similar management role within the hospitality industry or be looking to step up from an Assistant Managerial role at the same level or higher.
Our vision for the person who will succeed in this role is one that will be able to bring their undoubted enthusiasm and experience firstly to The Plough, prove themselves there, and then to become a key part of the expansion of our small PubCo to include new sites in the very near future.
