Paul and Laura Bolton already own award-winning hospitality sites in Lancashire and after driving past The Plough multiple times over the years on visits to the Lakes it was the perfect opportunity to buy.
Paul is a property developer with over 35 years experience, selling his housing business 20 years ago to a PLC and then sat on the international board of that same company.
Paul then moved into the hospitality sector developing and part owning several Hilton, intercontinental and Marco Pierre White Restaurants.
Paul and Laura are delighted with the purchase of The Plough and look forward to spending plenty of time getting to know the locals and trying an ale or two. They have worked hard putting together an experienced management team who they know will bring new life and vibrancy to The Plough along with providing excellent food and drink with attentive friendly service.
